Examples of Beads With "Starburst" Murrini

I have changed my website around since Corina first included a link to this page from her website.
Thanks for the link, Corina! I have to give credit where credit is due - I first learned this technique
from Kate Drew-Wilkinson back in August of 2000. I was quite taken with these little "fossils" and
began using them frequently in my work. In 2001 I created my first "Bronze Age" beads and submitted
one to the jury for the SGB Exhibit/Auction "Obsession: The Ten Year Affair With The Bead". The bead
was accepted and appears in the Auction Catalog. A few years later I submitted a photo of 3 more of
these beads to a "call for entries" by Lark Books, and the photo appears on page 296 of "1000 Glass Beads".
I have used a portion of one of these beads in my website logo ever since!
